The USS Rogue (NCC-76553) is a Prometheus-class Tactical Assault Cruiser in service with Starfleet and the Federation in the late 24th century.
The Rogue is one of the starships launched in 2384 and commissioned in 2385 for the specific purpose of forming the fleet strength of the Tenth Fleet, also known as the Vanguard Fleet.
Upon its commissioning, command over the vessel was handed over to Rear Admiral (upper grade) James Kirk. It was subsequently made the flagship of Task Force Rogue, the special unit of the Vanguard Fleet which focuses on covert and special diplomatic missions.
