The USS Belligerent (NCC-88768) is the second starship built of the Yamato-class Federation Heavy Battleship in the late 24th century. The Belligerent was launched from the Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards in 2384, along with most of the starships attached to the Vanguard Fleet, and was commissioned in 2385 under the command of Rear Admiral (lower grade) Vraath ch'Evram.

The Belligerent was immediately assigned to serve as the flagship of Task Force Belligerent. As such, she leads fifty-four (54) combat oriented starships during task force formations. Outside of task force formations, she is always accompanied by a permanently attached escort complement of one Akira-class heavy cruiser, one Prometheus-class assault cruiser, one Intrepid-class Scout, and two Saber-class Frigates.

The USS Dauntless (NCC-88770) is the fourth starship built of the Yamato-class Federation Heavy Battleship in the late 24th century. The Dauntless was launched from the Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards in 2384, along with most of the starships attached to the Vanguard Fleet, and was commissioned in 2385 under the command of Rear Admiral (lower grade) Benjamin Sisko.

The Dauntless was immediately assigned to serve as the flagship of Task Force Dauntless. As such, she leads fifty-four (54) combat oriented starships during task force formations. Outside of task force formations, she is always accompanied by a permanently attached escort complement of one Akira-class heavy cruiser, one Prometheus-class assault cruiser, one Intrepid-class Scout, and two Saber-class Frigates.

The USS Paladin (NCC-88769) is the third starship built of the Yamato-class Federation Heavy Battleship in the late 24th century. The Paladin was launched from the Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards in 2384, along with most of the starships attached to the Vanguard Fleet, and was commissioned in 2385 under the command of Rear Admiral (lower grade) William T. Riker.

The Paladin was immediately assigned to serve as the flagship of Task Force Paladin. As such, she leads fifty-four (54) combat oriented starships during task force formations. Outside of task force formations, she is always accompanied by a permanently attached escort complement of one Akira-class heavy cruiser, one Prometheus-class assault cruiser, one Intrepid-class Scout, and two Saber-class Frigates.
