The story takes place in The Prime Universe near the Galactic Center and basicaly any one can join the fun and play with the story or some messages sent out for help or other things. You can either create a character or be a visiting starship doing an investigation or something else but I must recomend that you keep with the main storyline so as not to confuse other writers or readers. Also Wakachukie you can join in as well but please note that this is another universe so your fleet may or may not exist here. Unless one of your ships got sent here by mistake that is. Create your own characters here if you want to just make sure that you give your character a title, some background information, and who will be playing that character. All major characters can only be played by their users but all minor characters, such as a scientists or a member of a ship's crew like a ensign, can be played be anyone. Also if you place your own "personal" story, or a story told from your own character's personal view, than place place it on a new chapter to avoid confusion. Like the story being on a ship then it suddently takes place on a planet. Also when starting a new chapter please place the time, date, and location of the chapter so that the reader knows when and where the chapter takes place at. Have fun! Ensign "Doomed": A recruit from Earth that wanted to get away from seeing the same ships coming and going but now he must find out what is going on in the place he is working at before what ever it is takes over the base and heads for Earth. Played by: Rift Fleet.
Charles W. Requit: The scientist that sent the message into space to warn of the invasion and was also part of the team who built the Octagon Ring. Played by
Jennifer P. Francine: A scientist who was kicked off her team because of finding a slight imbalence in the calculations. Later back on Earth she sent for an investigation to be carried out but the transmissions from the base blacked out at this time. Played by: Rift Fleet (temporary)
The Great Destroyer: The leader of the invaders. Once he was respected in this universe but insaine with power tore him apart and so he seperated. One part becoming the Rifteons commander Mill Kron. The other being imprisioned in an evil dimension. Now that he has returned he plans to find his other self and conquer the universe once more. Played by: Rift Fleet
Ivah M. Clark: The Human captain of the Christian vessel USS Enterprise (CRC-07) (once NCC-1701-F). She doesn't take risks lightly after this mission. The falt has fallen on her this time. Played by: TrekkyStar
Jackson Y. Royal: Captain of the USS First Star (NCC-(Unknown) an Oberth class vessel. He was assigned his ship to explore different experiments with his crew. So far both his ship and crew are lost in a different dimension because the ship that reurned did not have a crew on it and looked different than when it left. Played by: Rift Fleet (temportary)
Zachary D. Underwood: The Primary Universe version of the Nobleverse's. Captain of the USS Insignia (NCC-385233), his ship was made to fight off dominion ships, and soon had the endeavor to defend the Federation in arms, while also being able to explore. Played by: Elitolu

[edit] Chapter 1: The Message
"Hello? I hope this thing is on. I will get right to the point. A months ago we set up this base near the Galactic Center's energy barrier on a planet that looked barren from the surface but had an enormous anount of energy below. After base was set up we started to work on the teleportation-transwarp conduit theory. We should of seen it coming. We constructed a octagon shaped ring in the star system but away from the planet in case it exploded or something. We should have stopped there why did we not stop there. We, we, open the gate and all seemed well. The probe we sent through emerged near Earth or what we though was Earth at first. So after bringing the probe back we sent a Oberth class ship through it. They over stayed for some reason but when they came back through. <Gluping>. It was battle damged and it looked as if something large attacked it. We never thought about closing the gate after we saw our ship. When it docked. OH! What have we done?! Creatures started to energe from the ship and very few of us are left on the station. Most of us escaped when we could but the others, <panicing>, the others 'changed'. I cannot describe it. I am ordering that the Federation stay far away from this base and if found destroy it and the gate!"

>Ugh, grabs head< "Well I feel like crap." <Gets up from ground, clicks communication badge> "This is Doomed can anyone read me?" <Static> "Hello this is Doomed is anyone there?" <Barrel in next room falls over> "Hey!" <Jumps to noise> "Hello?"
"Save me." <Doomed walks to voice>
"Ma'am?" <Still walking, walks through a door> >turns on flash light, holds up light to see in front< <the power is out except for emergency lights, hallway looks like Galaxy class coradors but the floors are made of metal, creaking sounds>
"SAVE ME!" <Doomed jumps back as a shadow flys by in front of him near a junction in the hallway> >gets out a phaser gun while the flash light is still out<
"WHAT THE FRAG?! HEY!" <Starts running to find shadow, stops to find a scientist standing in the middle of the hallway to Doomed's left while he is standing in the middle of the junction> "Yo did you see what came by here?" <Silence> >Scientist's head turns to look at Doomed<
"You will be the first to fall before the destroyer!" >Doomed shines light on scientist's face> <Species 8472 reatures showing on scientist's face but with some Borg technology too>
"Okay well perhaps you need some skin lotion or something." <Scientist leaps at Doomed> >Doomed fires phaser at scientist, scientist drops to the floor stunned< "Sorry friend but you did not look to well." >Doomed starts to walk to the command center, finally makes it after a couple of floors, panting for breath< "Well..at..least they...put in stairs...that was...a good...idea." >Catches breath, goes to console, presses button< <Main view screen pops up showing an Octagonal Ring in space but with a nebula coming out of it with a swirling vortex in the middle> "Okay who opened the creapy looking potal?" >Jumps when a noise is heard nearby, faces noise< <Civilian pops up from under a desk>
"Ahh! Please do not fire! I mean you no harm!"
"Who are you?"
"Uh I am one of the people who built that thing. I know it looks bad." >Civilian moves to console to download files to nearby sattilite< "Okay it is really bad becuase what is on the other side is almost every bit of scum from this galaxy put into one place. One of our ships went through it and came back damaged severly. Everyone who worked on this project some how seemed to get sucked into the device even if they were on this base! Now the other scientists have returned but I have seen only a couple. They look like a combination of most of the species in the galaxy!"
"I know I just stunned some one who looked like a Borg with organic material form Species 8472. Who ever he is or was is now stunned a couple of floors below us."
"Good we do not want to harm the scientists because I have just learned from this console that they can be saved. But if anything comes through that ring before we can close it we might as well give up the galaxy on a silver plater. Let me think." >Civilian types away< "Okay that nebula is." <A view on screen shows the nebula sonuming the ring and the local star which ignites the nebula into a plasma fire> "Highly flamable." <Civilian looks at screen> "Ah A CRC vessel is approching. If they investigate they will get caught up in this invasion. Ensign I want you to take the damaged USS First Star, it is a Oberth class ship, through the ring and then come back to our side with the warp core in overload. That should destroy that machine for good. I can fire the base's quantom torpedos at the ship too to destroy any thing that trys to escape. Now get going we have only about two hours before the CRC ship is in sensor range." >Doomed turns around and walks out of the command room, walks to dry dock area, boards the Oberth class ship, goes to bridge, activates entire ship by voice command>.
"Computer Activate engines and set a course for the ring."

"Reroute all commands to the bridge under my control."
"Commands rerouted to the bridge."
"Okay now take us out of the spacedock and set corrodenates for the octogon ring."
"Course set. I have a message from the control room."
"Patch it in."
"Its me umm look the nebula that is coming through the ring is highly flamable and it looks like that because of the system's star that it turned into a type of plasma storm. You have to get to the gate as fast as possible and try not to let the ship get destroyed. On the other side of the ring place the ship in between both sides of the dimensions and set the warp core to overload. That should destroy the gate and trap what ever is trying to escape from the other dimension. Good luck and return home."

"Okay engage the engines and head for the ring." "Confirmed." <Ship moves out of a srydock located on the planets surface and flys out of it straight up and away from the planet. An alarm goes off withinthe ship.> "This is not good they have come sooner than expected! Computer give me a readout on the nearby ship. I want a name, registry, its captain's name, her crew numbers, and what class of ship she is." "Accessing... Accessing... Accessing... Done, USS Enterprise (CRC-07) under command by I. M. Clark. It has onboard it; 574 humans, 212 Vulcans, 157 Bajorans, 47 Klingons, 27 Betazoids, 12 Bolians and 3 Trionians. With a total of 1032 people. Its class cannot be verified at this distance. They have detacted the ring's energy." "Blast it. Oh no. Computer I think that our problems have just started I am reading other openings nearby correct?" "Confirmed." "Dang no time to save them." <Ship arrives at the edge of the ring.> "My word." <Warning lights go off as the Oberth class ship enters the ring.> "Computer...ugh...halt advancement! We have to." >Doomed gets clanked around until he is thrown from the captain's chair and hits his head on another seat. Falls to floor passed out.< <Ship shuts down and fully enters the ring. The ring closes behind it once it is fully on the other side.> [edit] Chapter 4: Darkess Days(Chapter three still needs to be completed, unless it is already, but this is what happened to Doomed.) <Doomed gets up from the floor and goes to the captains chair. He then sits down in the chair and calls on the computer.> "Computer status report." <Waits.> "Computer?" <Static.> "Memory failure. Back back backing up files. Harm harm harm." <Computer's voice distorts to be deeper and unnatural.> "Find find find. RUIN! AHHHHH!!!!!" <Screams then the computer shuts off. The ship then goes dark.> >Doomed gets up from the chair and turns on his light.< <The view scren turns on to show what is out side.> "This is not very good." <The view is showing Earth but it is burnt up with lava flows, volcanos, and heavy smoke coming from every land mass and areas were the oceans might of been. In the back ground was the mysterious nebula like cloud but it was glowing red hot and then a strange creature flew by the ship that looked like a dinosaur but it had wings that seemed to be on fire. Along with the Earth the moon was broken up and its core was flowing into space. As for the sun it was gone but a dense portion of the gas was the most ignited in the sun's place that was giving off extordiarily high heat.> "This is really not good." <A voice boomed over the entire ship that sounded powerful and mischivous.> "Ha ha ha! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!! This is the fate that will befall your dimension once I escape this prison. For too long have I been here and for too long have I had to deal with leaser beings in here. I was the destroyer of entire worlds once and I did it all without an army. But in these times you will fall before you can stand. Now welcome to your doom." <The voice vanished and the ship came back online but once it did their were writings on the walls and strange noises coming from behind those walls.> "The crew of this ship must still be here. Trapped. Not to worry this destroyer will pay for what he has done even if it means to destroy this entire dimension." <The computer came back online with the normal voice.> "Systems online. Files restored. Ship detected." "Ship?" "The ship is identical to the one that was discovered before this ship entered the portal." "The Enterprise. Computer lay in a course for that ship at max velocity. We need to save them before they become lost in this dimension. Also search for thebio sinals of the people who became lost due to this portal. They must be found before we close this dimension once and for all." "Confirmed. Course locked in." "Engage." <Oberth class ship warps off to the evil counter part of Energy Planet #00001. USS First Star drops from wearp near the USS Enterprise. Small shuttle is seen heading torwards the Energy planet.> "Computer who is in that shuttle?" "Unknown. USS Enterprise is in trouble though. I am reading multiple life sign on the ship but their configuration is similar to the unknown encountered near Earth." "Great. Computer set up a ship to ship imediate transport to the Enterprise's bridge." >Doomed goes to a stoarage locker. Opens it up and gathers as many weapons as he can. Closes the locker and stands in the center of the First Star's bridge.< "I think I have some things to introduce properly over their. Okay computer send me over." "Initiating ship to ship transport...now." <Doomed is transported to the Enterprise. He remateralizes on the ship's bridge. He finds that every one is knocked out. Walks around the bridge.> "Hmm strange. Better link my communicator to the First Star. Good link up established. Computer are you their?" "Here sir. What do you need?" "I need you to try and get the power systems in here online and tell me if anything is coming my way. Also try to get the Enterprise's computer online. Wait. Where is the captain? Of course..." >Doomed looks at the view screen and then becomes full of fear.< "THE SHUTTLE! COMPUTER CAN YOU GET A TRACTOR BEAM ON THAT SHUTTLE?!" "Negative sir it is out of range I will have to move in closer. Warning bio signs are aproching the bridge. Stop. Intruder alert. Intruder alert." <Doomed trys his comm badge but all he heard was static." "Crud. Now I have to get this ship up and running to escape this dimension as well as destroy it." >Goes over to the captain's chair and trys to input commands into the console. The ship's lights and some systems come online.< "Great. Computer." <Several clicks whisled over the speaskers.> "Systems online." "Good. Computer what is the current location of this ship?" "Current location is unknown. Nearby planet is unknown." "Good. Now computer who launched the shuttle?" "Captain Clark of the USS Enterprise registry CRC-07." "CRC? Explain." "Christian Research Contract established in 2213." "Well I think they have their answer. Computer I need you to activate the in ship defence systems and keep this crew alive. Stop any thing that does not register with the DNA patterns of this ship's crew. Confirm." "Confirmed and understood. In ship defences are online. Monitoring all life signs of the crew." "Good now display on the screens of the ship every crew member's condition until either the captain returns or I return. Confirm." "Displaying crew monitoring scans on ship computer consoles." "Now computer I need you to lead me to the shuttle bay. If my guess is right the captain would of transported down to the planet but since he, or she, took a shuttle it seems that this ship's transsporters are down." "Shuttle is ready. Shuttle is 15 decks below your current location." "Thanks." <Noises coming from the bridge's door.> "I do not like this but it must be done." >Doomed starts to walk torward the door. It opens and then closes behind him. The corridor is pitch black except for the red lights that the ship's computer turned on to guide Doomed torwards the shuttle bay. Doomed starts his journey.< "Hope nothing is in here but..." <Doomed remembers what the First Star's computer said.> "Oh yeah I almost forgot." <Deformed Borg is seem with a two other Borgs attached to it.> "Oookay now this could get interesting. EAT PLASMA!" <Doomed fires his pahser rifle at the Borg attomatron andf it quickly goes down.> "Hmm their could be more of these things in here. I better run." >So Doomed runs throug the Enterprise while shooting at anything that does not look normal. He took great aim to not and try to hit any of the crew members and luckily he never hit even one. Then after about an hour getting to the shuttle bay he was a little on edge. Huffing and puffing he stood in front of the doors to the shuttle bay. Once they opened Doomed's eyes opened up wide. What he saw was half the room Borgified but he saw that many Borgs made up the wall. Then it opened what looked like a signle eye and then it "grew" 10 arms with many weapons on them that came from almost every species encountered back home.< "No...way...my...day...can go...this badly." <The machine brought one of its arms down on top of Doomed but he jumped in time to avoid it. Then he opened fire upon the thing with the phaser rifles being first. The battle continued in much of this fashion for a few mintue with the machine firing oine if its weapons at Doomed once in a while. Then Doomed heard a small voice in his head. It was like his own voice but small enough to almost not be heard.> "The machine can become blind." <Doomed did not understand at first but then he understood all to clear. So he shot the thing in the eye with one of his phaser pistols and the machine just stoped its attack on Doomed to try and save it's eye.> "Oh no. Your going down even if you don't want to." >Doomed then turned his weapon's setting to it's highest level and the macvhine started to turn red as if it was overloading. Then the machine let out a wail and then opened its hurting eye all the way just before it exploded sending parts of Borg and Species 8472 parts every where around the room.> "Now. >Panting<. Lets go get that captain." <Then Doomed wnet to the shuttle craft, got in, and soon the |
[edit] Chapter 3: The Terror that Innocents Bear[the following chapter begins just after Doomed leaves the base.] "Where's the message coming from?" "The starboard bow." "Viewscreen on ensign." <The viewscreen turns on showing a ship-less starfield.> "There's nothing there Ensign?" "Well the readings are coming from right there." "Could it be a cloaked ship?" "Possibly." <The captain pauses a moment and thinks> "If it were a cloaked ship it may move if it were in danger." <pauses again> "Ensign, tell Starbase 5 that we're going to check out a distress call. Then set a course to it." "Aye, sir." >Enterprise goes to maximum impulse and intercepts the destress call two minutes later< <Enterprise suddenly disappears through the unseen wormhole in space, without warning all power on the ship suddenly turns off. As nubular gases come out of nowhere and penetrate the hull contaminating Enterprise and her crew. Enterprise then drifts silently out of the nebula and slowly towards Energy Planet #0001.> <3 hours later> >Captain Clark gets up slowly and very dizzy.< "Computer." >nothing< "Computer?" >still nothing< <she tries to find a console in the mysterious green gas but can hardly see a thing. she eventually finds a power junct and reroutes power to the consoles.> >All the consoles on the bridge light up making the gas have erie glow.< "Computer, what's are situation?"<the captain asks> "All mian stesyms oilfnfe." "Wow computer you sure need a check up." "Pelsae rateste the qutesoin." "Never mind." <the captain walked the science station> "Computer, how many lifesigns are aboard Enterprise?" "1032, 1031 vrey fniat, 1 snotrg." "All lifesigns are very faint?" "Yes." "But how can all lifesigns on the ship be so bad?" "Saecnrs sohw it is smoe srot of oagrinc mix aonlg wtih hdgreoyn taht is kpeieng the cerw aelsep." "Well then why am I awake?" "Uownkn." >Clark thought a moment and sat in the command chair.< "Computer, where are we?" "Uownkn, the piosotoining sosners are oilfnfe." "Can you turn on the viewscreen?" "Artmvififate." >The viewscreen activates showing Energy Planet #0001 with a ring of gas beginning to form around the planet.< [edit] Chapter 5: The Energy Planet"Computer, judging by the viewscreen image, what planet is that?" "Alnziaing, Alnziaing, Alnziaing, Eregny Pnalet #0001" "Oh my gosh, the Energy Planet!" "Computer, I need to get down to that planet emediately, can you direct all available power to the transporters?" "Naivgeae." <the captain thinks a moment> "Computer, put a note in the log that I'm taking the Magdalene down to Energy Planet #0001." "Cmoelpted" >the captain went to a hatch on the floor and opened it, looking down you see a long ladder separated by doors> "Well, 15 decks isn't so bad." <she began climbing down the long ladder deck by deck taking momentary breaks ever so often> <finally, 7 minutes later the captain crawls out of the jefferies tubes a little sweaty> >it was creapy looking down the long foggy green coridors< <she gets up and walks toward the captain's yacht enterance and enters a series of numbers, opening the door> >inside was an area of about two shuttlecrafts put together and was alot more personalized< "Computer, seal the door and disconnect the docking latches." "Affermative, door sealed, Docking latches disconected." "Well at least the yachts computer is working correctly." <she said to herself> <the yacht came undone from the bottom of the ship's sauser as the warp and impulse engines turned on> "Computer set a course for Energy Planet #0001" "Confirmed. Setting course." >the yacht gained speed and zoomed toward the planet< "Computer clear the unknown gas from the air." "Completed." <the captain sat there for a moment> "Computer, is there any diffence in my DNA patterns to the crew's DNA patterns that would cause them to be affected by the gas, and not me?" "Affermative." "What is it?" "There is a unknown chemical substance in you body, which was reacting with the airborn organic compound aboard Enterprise." "Can you give me a list of the things found in the airborn compound?" "45% dormant Borg nanoprobes, 44% Trionian DNA, 6% neptuneum benzene, 4% kendel weed extract and 1% hydrogen. <she thinks a moment> "Computer, create a theory on how the gas possibly works?" "Analysising, Analysising, Analysis Completed. The nanoprobes are possibly used for transforming the victim's DNA into a Borg /Trionian / Human super being. The neptuneum benzene would be used for speeding along the mutation process using its small level of radioactivity. The kendel weed extract would be used as a sedative and the hydrogen would most likely keep a bond between all the items. "It's literally a weapon." <a moment goes by, then she looks out the window and sees a the Energy Planet base and begins manual control of the yacht> >the yacht flies throught the sky and lands gracefully in a hanger bay on the planet< <Captain Clark walks out of the shuttle after the door retracts fully> >one second later a phaser blast stuns her and she is knocked out< [edit] Chapter 8: Questions and Answers"Captain?" <hazy voices> "Captain? Captain?" <Clark's eyes now fully open> "What?" >in a groggy voice< "What is your name?" "Clark... it's Clark." "Sorry about stunning you captain, but I thought you were one of those..... um.... things?" "Apology accepted." <she got up> "What's going on?" "Well, it seems that it would be our fault." "Our? I only see you." <he syed> "Just sit down and I'll explain." "Must be a long story then?" "Yeah." <he paused a moment> "Well, you know that hexagoned shaped ring above this planet?" "Yeah, I think that is why Enterprise thrown here from Earth." "Earth?" "Yes." "Well that gas sure isn't coming from our Earth because when we opened it we saw an entirely different Earth before the gas flooded the area." "Oh... well do you know why my crew's DNA is in a state of flux?" "Um..... sadly, yes and no." <he got up and began pacing.> "All I know is that it's because of that gas out there. I don't know how or why but... yeah. <a few seconds passed by> "Also, this planet's atmosphere has been degrading because of the gas and will be completely gone in 27 hours." "I do not know why, but I'm somehow immune to this gas." "Immune? How?" [edit] Chapter 6: Story of the Destroyer
<On the bridge of the USS First Star a human wearing a captain's uniform walks to the captain's chair and then sits down in it.>
"Intruder alert. Intruder alert."
"Oh computer knock it off. I have had a busy day right now and I wish to just relax."
"Scannign bio signs. Intruder is found to be the captain of the USS First Star."
"Duh. Compter may I ask what has been going on around here? I mean really I am looking at the view screen and that does not look normal."
"A mysterious force has threatened the galaxy and a Ensign Doomed has orders to close the portal constructed by the scientists at Energy Planet #00001 in order to stop an ivasion from the mysterious force. Doomed has since left to save the USS Enterprise that has some how traveled with us to this universe."
"Oh. Okay. Well where is my crew?"
"Unknown. You are the only bio sign I am reading right now on this ship."
"Does the ship have to be dark and what is up with these...wait a minute...these symbols are ancient Vulcan. I reconize these symbols." >Captain looks at the writings on the walls more carefully.> "Yeah. Computer start a log so that who ever listens to it can understand these symbols."
"Log started."
"I do not have a whole lot of time since I appear to be in a very strange place. I am reading the ltters ont he walls of my bridge and they are in fact ancient Vulcan. I will read what they say. Ah hem. 'This prison was created to keep only one prisoner here. It was created by us to save the young universe from total destruction. When time was young the universe was at peace. Many races lived in harmony and peace including the prisoner. One day the prisoner traveled to another plane of existance and leanred of great power. He could not control it and so he split into two different personas. One became a warlord of pne of the first races ever created in the universe. The other half went mad with its own power. Our tales is not the one that was said many years ago on Earth. No and this prison is not the place of darkness described by so many on Earth. Instead this place hold only one prisoner and any knowledge that prisoner recieves is used in his power. Anything he learns can be created in this universe. Althoguh his power is controled through the use of a type of energy. It is not heat but rather a different type of cold. What might look like fire is actualy ice. What looks like lava is actualy water. Our ways are different but we wer kind to allow him to live in his own universe. Should he ever return to the universe he came from though he will destroy every thing in that universe and try to destroy anything he can to destroy what is called "M". He does have a weakness. Whiel energy is his greatess strength this prison is his greatess weakness. Use your...'. I guess that is all I can read since I am at a loss as what these picto graphs mean."
"Captain analiysis concludes that this dimension was created and not formed by natural means."
"What do you mean?"
"Records are that this place was created by an earlier race before they vanished to another galaxy. The records were found on Vulcan just recently and the race that left were similar to Vulcans and Humans. They also explain that this race was also form the Delta Quadrent of the Milky Way Galaxy and looked completely different."
"That explains why my crew vanished. This place must have a defence mechanism in order to keep other explorers out. This destroyer must of found a way to manipulate it. Computer we must find a way to reverse what damage this destroyer cuased and bring back any one who became lost here."
"I shall do my best."

<Doomed lands in a hanger bay similar to the one in his home dimension. A shuttle is seen nearby that belongs to the Enterprise.> >Doomed opens the shuttle door and steps out with a phaser rifle over his shoulder.< "Gosh and I thought my room was a mess. Oh well I better find this captain and try to destroy this universe as well as this destroyer." <Just then the destroyer's voice bomed through out the base.>
"Not a chance! I see that your are from the universe that I know of but this other one seems to be able to resist me as well as her crew. You were wise to place her ship in lock down since now I cannot reach her crew from any angle! Bah! Either way my drones will see to it that you will not stop me in taking over both your universe as I planned during my stay here and that captain's universe that I now know exsists! Ha ha ha ha ha! I will give you both a little test. If you can find each other you will be allowed to seek out a temple in the center of this prison universe that holds some secrets you might find interesting. If you fail, he he he he he, then both of your universes will fall before me as well as anyone who is not at my level of power! Ha ha ha ha ha!"
<The voice vanished and Doomed got a feeling that this captain heard the voice too. Doomed then thought about this captain and remembers that her crew only had a small phaser pistol on them. Then he knew that she must not be far and soon rushed off to find her. Meanwhile the destroyer had plans of his own.>
"I am questioning myself if I should test this captain. Hmm. But what would be her greatest fear I wonder. I guess I shall have to find out." <Said the destroyer on his makeshift throne n the center of the Energy Planet Base. Just then he brought forth one of his earlist drones out which looked like the other drones but this one looked more human and wore sunglasses for some reason. The drone also wore a type of leather jacket with jeans and military boots but also wore a white shirt under the jacket.> "You have served be well for this long and for this I reward you with a hunt. I want you to find this captain and lead her into the experimentation room. Do not turn on the portal until that ensign arrives once he does make sure that captain is tied up to the machine and set the machine to...well you should know the corrodenates. Now go! I must see to it that my plan goes forth since I do not have much time before the gate is sealed." <As the destroyer said this the drone bowed and then ran out of the room faster than light. In fact all the drone was, well, was a blurr to the average eye.> >Running down to the captain's position the drone pulled out two blades out of its back while running and everytime it made a corner it slamed a blade into the ground to make the hard turn. Though it never let go of it's blade after it turned but pulled it up from the ground before the drone hit a wall.< <Doomed was busy running through the base looking for this captain but could not find her. Soon that strange soft odd voice came back into his head.>
"Listen."
<Doomed understood clearly.> >He stopped where he was and closed his eyes to listen down the hallway.< <Once he did he heard the captain's footsteps but only faintly.> >Then Doomed jolted off to her direction with phaser rifle loaded but it was not soon enough that the Destroyer's voice boomed from inside the walls again.>
"Insigifigant human you have no chance of stoping me. But lets play a little game. I call it 'find the captain'. Heres how to play. It is simple really all you must do is to find the captain before my most elite drone finds her and sends her directly to...well lets just say that it is a very bad place to go. Mind you the clock is ticking for if you do not find her in time and if she falls into 'the other side' I will also rig her ship as my personal ship and launch my invasion against both your diamension as I planed as well as hers! But it may also be wise to try and stop my other minons." <Just then Doomed stop running just when the hallway started to distort and flux. Soon when it stablized to normal drones started to come out of the walls as well as the ceiling and floor! Doomed had no time for this so he just checked his rifle and started to run forward as fast as he could while he shot everything he had at the drones. Hallway after hallway he kept getting closer to the captain's footsteps until he was just a corridor away from her. But when he arrived at the corridor he saw someone in a Federation uniform with a rank of captain. Though the person was just standing their. Doomed walked up to the person carefully.> "Hello? Captain?" <Then he reached out with one hand and as soon as he touched the captain's shoulder he realized that it was another drone but this one was modified.>
"Alo' human." <Said the drone at which time it knocked out Doomed with a single blow from his right arm elbow.> >The next thing Doomed knew was that he was in some kind of experimentation room tied up on a wall with all his limbs spread out.< "I know what your thinking and that 'captain' your looking for is not here. You see my master wants you since you are the only one trying to stop him." <Said the modified drone in a rather normal voice but the drone dropped down from the ceiling right in front of Doomed. Then the drone held up one of his claws right up to Doomed's throat whle using his left claw like hand to point to a smaller hexagon ring portal.> "You see that? That is what your scientists in your universe used before building the larger one in orbit of this pathetic planet. My master has learned to use this one to his will so he can," <The drone then used what Doomed thought to be a mind power to turn on the portal which only opened to nothing but darkness beyond the ring itself,> "do anything he wants to. Now...good bye." <Doomed then remembered that this room has several objects that were created by the scientists back in his home universe and one of them was above his head. In fact it was touching the top of his head. So with a swing of his head the object lost it's balence on him and hit the drone in the head but since the drone also still had his claw to Doomed's throat the drone accidently droped to the floor while letting his claw cut Doomed's strap on his left hand. Using this Doomed untied the rest of his straps and grabed the nearest object he could find. A hand held gun dubbed "Genesis".>
"When your on the other side..." <said Doomed as the drone stood up> "tell them your master is next." >Then Doomed pulled the trigger that sent an energy blast from the weapon and hit the drone in the chest. The drone then flew back to the portal but he stop himself right at the edge of the portal but then his chest started to dissapear. It was being replaced by a different kind of skin and bone. Yelling in pain he gave Doomed one last look.<
"THIS IS NOT THE END! YOU WILL FAIL!" <Said the drone right before he was sucked into the portal which closed and fell apart afterwards.>
"Just another day." >Said Doomed just as an alarm went off within the base.<
"Warning, warning, warning attention base personel atmospheric pressures are dropping. Please calmly evacuate to the nearest shuttle bay. Repeat please calmly evactuate to the nearest shuttle bay." <But then the computer's voice, which was male at first, distorted to the Destroyers voice.> "Run run run boy you don't have much time. The game is still on but this time new players have been added. Now once this planet's atmosphere is depleated I can fully activate the ring to invade both universe if not every universe! You have 24 hours...and the clock's ticking. Oh one more thing try to turn the ring off while it is being activated will not work since only I can activate it." <Then the Destroyer's voice went away only to be replaced by the regular computer's voice. Doomed had no time to spare so he ran out of the experimentation room to find the captain of the Enterprise and stop the Destroyer from taking over the multi-verse.> >Doomed ran down several corridors until he was shot in the back by a phasor blast.< <He turned around to see his attacker but blackout once he saw a wornout uniform. Hours later he awoke in a room where the captain of the Enterprise was asleep for some reason on a cot opposite of him. Then a scientist from his universe appeared to his left from a conjoining room. He wanted to fight but the person was too strong for him so Doomed could only wait to hear his tale.>
"Whoa! Don't get up! I knew it might of been you trying to stop who ever is being kept here. Look we don't have much time we have to get to the bay in order to escape."
"No. I have to stop the Destroyer from opening the portal."
"We know. I am also sorry but that captain fell asleep on us after we told her our story so she might be out for a while. In the meantime I have to say that some of us were sent here through the portal by accident. Some of us became monsters while others became lost then...became something else. Their are not much of his here so all I can say is that if the portal is shut down our theory is that we can use enough energy to destroy this universe thereby destroying this 'Destroyer'. Though I am not sure what will happin if this universe is destroyed since universes are alternate timelines or alternate places one bad mistake could distabilze the multiverse or destroy either of our home unverses. Meaning that either Captain Clark's universe will be destroyed or ours will be. How did you get here anyway?"
"I came through the portal on the USS First Star. She is in orbit along with the USS Enterprise but their was no crew onboard her. The First Star I mean. I then short transfered over to the USS Enterprise then used a shuttlecraft from that ship to get here. I then started to look for the captain of the Enterprise to get her back to her ship while hopefully sending her home safely along with her crew. Now that I found her I want to stop the Destroyer once and for all!"
"Well...okay but in order to shut down the portal while returning the USS Enterprise along with her crew home he have to reach seven singularity generators near the center of the planet. The only way down though is down a 50 mile vent shaft going to the planet's core. Also we need a ship to be placed in the center of the hexagon ring so that the ship can disrupt the ring's energy singals, as well as it's patterns, off for a time until corrodenates can be set in the base's control tower. The only problem we have is that we only have two ships, The Enterprise and the First Star, I am guessing that the Destroyer has the planet's defences up so he will possibly destroy the ship holding the ring closed as well as the ship trying to escape. It is useless." <Just then from the scientist's communication box which was like a minature T.V. another scientist appeared on it.>
"Sir we have another singularyity opening near the planet. A SHIP IS EMERGING!"
"I want a name and a recongition as to what kind of ship it is!"
"It is a Federation starship. Shall I try to hail it?!"
"Yes try! Try to tell them to stay their distance and stay with the other two ships out their. Also try to tell them not to investigate this planet!"
NOTE: Now the stage is set for the final battle but will Domed and Captain Clark be able to save the multi-verse from this ancient threat? Or will the Destroyer have his way with every universe out there and what of the mysterous ship that arrived? It is a friend or a foe? Return every now and then to find out. Also this chapter will be the "cross link" between both Doomed's story and Captain Clark's story but this will not happen until Clark gets done in her own chapter and until Doomed fights his way through the base. :).
