In the mirror universe, Spock was a Vulcan who served aboard the Terran Empire's ninth Sato-class warship, the ISS Enterprise. He later went on to become Intendant of the Terran Empire, and is considered, by Terrans, to be one of the main reasons for the downfall of the Terran Empire at the rise of the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance. In an alternate mirror universe Spock was assassinated in the late 23rd century before his reforms could be implemented, as a result the Empire continued to exist into the 24th century. The Empire controlled all known space, having conquered major rivals such as the Klingons and defeated the Romulans in 2155.
The Gift
Within this continuity Spock was overthrown shortly after coming to power. His katra was given to his Federation counterpart, apparently resulting in the two Spocks becoming a single individual (The Gift). The Klingons and Cardassians formed their alliance after Spock's ouster and eventually conquered the Empire.
