The NX-class starship was originally commissioned during the 22nd century by United Earth. The class was recommissioned by the Federation following major engagements of a massive intergalactic war between major races of the galaxy during the 24th century.

24th century improvementsEdit

Over the span of a few centuries, many improvements were made in technologies. For the NX-class, this meant faster warp speeds, improved weaponry and defenses, and some cosmetic changes, such as numbered decks and the addition of the "USS" prefix to the starship name.
