Biography
Aris Katanay was born on June 24, 2329 in Phoenix, Arizona, Mars to parents Mother Maris Shadowcloud (Human/Native American) and Father Aris Kolopak (Bajorian). He is the youngest of 3 children. Katanay is the youngest brother to Colaris a Imperial Spacial Surveyor and oldest Sister Kataris a Imperial Federation Diplomat to the Bajorian-Cardassian Alliance.
Childhood
While he was born in Fountain Valley, Arizona (a suburb of Phoenix). He was raised primarily in Ohio, but periodically returned to Arizona to visit an aunt who was a school teacher. At the ages of 8 to 9 years old Katanay's father took him to Bajor Prime in order to more of his Alien heritage.
During this period Katanay learned about the Celestial Tree People the matriarchal tribal nation from which he descended from. From the ages of 10 to 12 Katanay helped his mother care for his dying Grandfather. After several more years of researching his genetic legacy (During this period is when he had first received his ceremonial Facial tattoo), Katanay first began to develop an growing curiosity about the rest of the galaxy and the cultural legacies of other species at the age of 15. This is when he decided to first join Imperial Starfleet.
