The ISS Decisive was a Galaxy-class starship in the Imperial Starfleet under the command of Captain Adriana Faulkner.
History
Following the victory of the Terran Rebellion over the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance and it's unification with the secret remnants of the Terran Empire, to help secure the Empire's borders against Alliance invasion, the emperor commissioned a series of warships to bulk up the Imperial Starfleet these included ISS Freedom, and ISS Decisive.
The ISS Decisive was launched in 2379 from her construction site at Terok Nor and Adriana Faulkner, an experienced raider captain during the Rebellion years, was assigned to command. For six years she and her crew patrolled the Cardassian border against Alliance incursions, fighting several skirmishes with Regent Duras' forces.
The Decisive was destroyed in 2381 by Gorn Hegemony raiders, all of the 826 crew were killed except from Captain Adriana Faulkner who spent decades as a slave until she was rescued by Fleet Admiral Marty Chisnall and killed for her incompetence.
Behind the Scenes
ISS Decisive is named for Decisive, an Imperial-class Star Destroyer that appeared in the Star Wars Expanded Universe novel X-Wing: Isard's Revenge. It, too, ended up being captured by the protagonist faction, the New Republic in this case.
