Hosato Sulu

Hosato Sulu was a Human man who lived during the 23rd and early 24th century.

Sulu was born in 2202 in Encino, California. He and his family later moved to San Francisco when he was five years old. His father owned a struggling Japanese restaurant, named Sulu's Sushi, near San Francisco. Sulu was a busboy at the restaurant. One day in 2228, he spilled a drink on a young woman named Yoshiko. He apologized profusely. Later, the two began dating and fell in love. They later married in 2232. The two later had a son in 2237, whom they named Hikaru. After Hosato's father passed away, he became the owner and operator of Sulu's Sushi. He had hoped his son who inherit the business when he grew up, however, Hikaru had different interests, like joining Starfleet. Hosato later died in 2311 and the business was sold after his death.
