Deep Space 6 is a Federation deep space station located along the Romulan Neutral Zone.

In 2335 then Commander Maximus Hunter was assigned as its Station Commander. He served in this position until his promotion to the rank of Captain in 2339.

It underwent general reconstruction in 2363 but a freak accident killed the construction team and destroyed most of the partially completed station.
