The Abraxis System is an uninhabited star system. This system contains 8 planets revolving around it, two of which - Abraxis III and Abraxis IV - and one moon of Abraxis III are class M.
The Abraxis System is located 8 light years beyond the Chamra Vortex from "beyond" the far end of the terminus of the Bajoran wormhole. It is part of the border regions of the Khronnian Suzerainty.
As of 2385, its fourth planet, Abraxis IV, was the location of the orbital space station Deep Space Gamma-01, the base of operations of Abraxis Command, the planet-side installation Abraxis Base, a large Starfleet complex supporting a colony of 25,000, and the first Vulcan and Klingon colonies in the Gamma Quadrant, with populations of 3,000 and 6,000, respectively.
